This magic mushrooms have incredible healthy benefits for us, for instance they can support brain health and boost cognitive function, manage anxiety and depression, so they improve our mood and focus. They are common to use as a supplement in powder form, however today I want to show you how you can cook them and enjoy in a burger.

How to make Lion’s mane mushroom burger

In one plate combine the flour, water, salt into a smooth batter. In the other plate combine plain flour and season it with Red pepper powder, Turmeric, Cayenne pepper. Next, dip the Lion’s mane mushroom  in the battery plate and let the excess batter drip off. Then dip in to the flour plate. Set on the side.

Heat up a frying pan filled at least 1 cm with frying oil. Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side, until deep golden brown. Use tongs to turn over the mushroom to avoid splashes of hot oil. On button of burger buns add vegan mayo with Sriracha  and mix then add Lamb’s lettuce, the mushroom burger and some chopped onion on top. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large Lion's mane mushroom
  • 2 Burger buns
  • 2 tbsp Vegan mayo
  • 1 tbsp Srirachaย 
  • 1 cup Lamb's lettuce
  • 1 small Onion red
  • 2 cups Flour of your choice
  • 1 tbsp Red pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Cayenne pepperย 
  • Water
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions
