How to make Vegan chee kofta

Put the bulgur in a large bowl and add the double amount of boiling water. Stir and  leave to soak for 10 minutes. Sliced onion, green pepper and tomato in small pieces. In large bowl add bulgur with sliced onion, green pepper, tomato, and pressed garlic. Season with all seasoning and Salt & Pepper. Use your hand and mix well everything until all ingredients combine. If needed, add some olive oil or water to better combine.

Let the mixture set for 30 minutes. To shape, take about 2-3 tbsp in your hand, shape into an oval shape and press together compactly. The fingerprints show the typical shape. Serve with fresh lettuce and some parsley on top. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Bulgur
  • 1 large Onion
  • 1 medium Green pepper
  • 1 large Tomato
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts flour
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Curry powder
  • 3 tbsp Sweet red pepper powder
  • Salt & Black pepper
  • 1 Lettuce

Optional

  • 1/2 cup Parsley

Instructions
