Moqueca

Moqueca is a traditional dish from Brazil. This slow cook stew is rich in coconut flavor. It has touch of spic and beautiful orange color.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gram Fish Halibut / Black Cod / Sea Bass
  • 500 ml Vegetables stock
  • 1 can Coconut milk
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 medium Lime
  • 1 large Onion
  • 2 large Red pepper
  • 1 to 3 tbsp Chili
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 cup Cilantro
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions
 

  • First wash sliced fish in small squares. In a bowl press lime juice with pressed garlic, salt & pepper, mix well then add fish and marinaded it at least for 10 minutes.
  • Prep your veggies, sliced onion and red pepper into stripes.
  • Meanwhile, heat olive oil in wok, addonion and let simmer till onion soften around 3 minutes then add red pepper andsimmer 5 more minutes. Add Chili, coconut milk, vegetables sock, cilantro, salt& pepper.
  • Bring everything to boiled, then turnheat on lower. Add marinated fish in the soup, cover and let cooked till fishis cooed thought around 10 -15 minutes.
  • Serve with extra cilantro on top.
