Why we love Overnight oats

I mean, we all want to stay healthy and eat healthy food. However,  I get almost bored from smoothie or green juice at morning, and honestly I don’t have a lot of time at the morning to prer my veggies and then clean my juicer.
However with overnight oats I just get all in one I don’t need to think about my healthy breakfast option.
I prepare my overnight oats a night before and then at morning a just rag my jar glass and go.

Why we love oats

Why love oats because, firstly, oats are natural gluten-free, and because they are high in fiber, they can help in weight loss. Secondly, they contain soluble fiber called beta-glucan, which can help lower cholesterol and keep blood sugar in balanced. They improve digestion and help you keep your heart healthy. Thirdly, and most importantly, oats are beauty foods which help our skin and hair, for example by hair loss or dandruff problems.

Overnight oats

How to make Overnight oats

All you need to do is combine all ingredients and mix everything well. Think that you need double portion of milk from the oats. I prefer to place all my ingredients in a large bowl and mix all together, so I don’t make a real mess and I can do two to three portion. However, if you prefer you can make it direct in jar glass, but I would recommend you use the bigger one.

Ingredients for overnight oats

Oats โ€“ I like to buy a bio soft oats, but be free to use your favorite brand. I told about oats a lot before, they are great option for breakfast. Oats are a rich source of energy, aids in weight loss, improve immunity, works as a moisturizer and fights acne.

Yogurt –  I normally use Greek yogurt, but last time I bought a coconut yogurt and that was just tasty as a with Greek one. Yogurt is great source of probiotic, help in weight loss, boosts the immune system, reduce high blood pressure and support healthy digestion. These are just a little health benefits why we should add a yogurt in our daily diet.

Milk โ€“ Lately I use oats with almond milk, but be free to use any kind of milk what you have in fridge. You can use water too, but I find that milk make it nice creamy and extra tasty.

Honey โ€“ I use local honey. Keep in mind that sugar is sugar, but let’s look about some benefits from honey. Honey can help in insomnia, coughs, colds. Honey treat anemia, acne and eczema.

Extra nutrition

Flax seeds โ€“ Flax seeds are high in omega 3, burns fat, are full of antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, for example magnesium, potassium, copper, iron, vitamin B. Flax seeds can lower cholesterol, lowers blood pressure and protect against cancer, also is Anti-viral and antibacterial

Fruit โ€“ Now comes the funny part. Use any fruit you like or prefer. I use strawberries and blueberries.

Strawberries are great to regulate blood pressure and promote pre-natal health, also boost immune system and help in Anti-aging.

Nut butter โ€“ For extra source of protein and mono-unsaturated fat, try to add one tbsp of any nuts butter. I know that lately been almond butter putting on the pedestal, but don’t forget that peanut butter and cashew butter are also really healthy for us. Just keep looking for brand that are not putting extra sugar inside.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 2 cups plant-based milk
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 tbsp Flax seeds
  • Fruit

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl add oats with milk, yogurt, honey and flaxseeds. Mix really well.
  • In jar glass on the ground add your fruit then add oatsmixture on top add fruit of your choose with nut butter, closed place in fridgeand let sit 3 hours or overnight.
  • Enjoy
