Cut your panini bread in half to make a top and bottom piece.Put 1 tablespoon of pesto on the inside of each half of the bread.Place the cheese slices on the bottom half of the bread.Put the bottom half of the bread (with cheese) in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
While the bread is in the oven, slice the tomato and get the prosciutto and arugula ready.
Once the cheese has melted, take the bottom half of the bread out of the oven. Layer the prosciutto, tomato slices, and arugula on top of the melted cheese.
Drizzle a teaspoon of chili oil over the top (if using) and add a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place the top half of the bread on your sandwich. Cut your panini in half if you like, and it's ready to eat.
