How to make Snickers
This raw Snickers recipe you can make in 3 steps.
Caramel – First we need to make a caramel. In a food processor, add dates with peanut butter and pinch of salt. Mix till everything combine and make a sticky paste.
Dough – For dough you need a one spoon of caramel dough combine with almond flour
Chocolate โ For dark chocolate, use water bath. I used to melt my chocolate with microwave, however this was just a bad idea every time, because you can so easy burn your chocolate and end up with a stinky one.
Ingredients for Homemade Snickers bars
Dates โ This is one of the main ingredients for this recipe. Dates make the best raw caramel for this Snicker bars.
Almond flour โ I used almond flour to make it extra nuts taste. You can use any nut flour want you have at home.
Salt โ Pinch of salts in baking is one of the magic ingredients. If you add a pinch of salt in your caramel paste, you make come sweet taste even more out.
Dark chocolate โ I used 70 & dark chocolate. If you like darker, be free to use it. Dark chocolate has a great benefits for us, for instance provides relief from stress, help to prevent cancer and diarrhea, help to increase efficiency of brain and boost our heart health.
Peanut โ use unsalted peanut. Peanut have a great health benefits, for instance they fight depression, help in skin care, regulate blood sugar, lower cholesterol and fights colon cancer. They are a great source of Vitamins and Minerals. So enjoy using a lot of them.
Peanut butter โ I love great creamy peanut butter. Nowadays, peanut butter become forgotten and Wellness culture has told us to use more almond butter. I have to disagree almond and peanut butter has a lot of in common, like they both have similar calories, high in protein and so on. However, if you prefer you can use the one of the nut butter what you like.

Ingredients
- 400 gram Dates
- 250 gram Peanut butter
- 200 gram Almond flour
- 1 cup Dark chocolate
- 1 cup Peanut
- Salt
Instructions
- First make a Caramel paste combining dates, peanut butter a pinch of salt in food processor till everything make acreamy paste.
- For dough, combine in food processor almond flour with one spoon of the caramel paste you make in the first step.
- Place baking paper on quadrant baking tray, then add first layer of dough and press down.
- Spoon the caramel past on top of the first layer also pressdown to the all corner.
- Generously sprinkle peanuts on top of the caramel and press with your hand down to the caramel.
- Place everything in fridge around 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a water bath, melt dark chocolate.
- Cut your Snicker bars in nice and equal rectangles
- Pour over each Snicker bars chocolate and let sit in fridge for one hour or in freezer 20 minutes.
