I eat handful of walnuts every day for my brain health and stronger hair. You can for this recipe use almond as well. Try to roast almond for a few minutes before adding in mixer than you get nice smoked aroma.
Cranberries โ they are one of few dry fruits what I’m using in my kitchen, because they are rich in antioxidant they help with Anti-ageing, skin care. They can help with weight loss and keep you out of depression. Hmm, that are enough reason why we should try to add cranberries in our diet. In this recipe I would stick with cranberries because we are not using sweetener, cranberries make this energy balls sweet enough.
Dark chocolate โ keep in mind to stay by chocolate over 70 % I use dark chocolate with 85% to make this energy balls more nutrition. If normally 85% is too strong for you, in this recipe you would not notice it. Why we need dark chocolate? It is source of Antioxidants, lower blood pressure, may reduce heart disease and improve brain function.
Collagen powder โ this is one of supplement I am taking every day. It’s important to increase intake of collagen because as we get older we are losing collagen and most of us are not getting enough collagen from our diet. - 1 cup Walnuts
- ยฝ cup Cranberries
- ยฝ cup Dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp Collagen powder
- 2 tbsp Mushroom mix powder
Instructions
- In your food processor add all ingredients and mix well till it start to combineย
- Form balls around 3 cm big
- Sprinkle top with Coconut flaks or extra collagen powder
- Place it in fridge and let cool for one hour or enjoy straight away
