How to make Apple Roses

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Half the apples, use unpeeled, without core and thinly slice and add directly to small pan with water. Press lemon to the water to prevent them from oxidizing and turning brown. Cooked for 5 minutes, or until apples soften. You can also place them in the microwave for 1-2 minutes.

Roll out the puff pastry and cut the dough into strips approx. 5 cm wide. Brush the strips with the jam. Now place the apple slices on top with the round side or the red skin facing up and sprinkle with cinnamon. Fold the bottom half of the pastry strip over and carefully roll up the strip and place the roses in the muffin tins. Then bake for 25-35 minutes.

Take the roses out of the oven, let them cool completely before removing them from the mold. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
