Ingredients for Chocolate Snickers Stuffed Dates
Dates – I love to use dates in my kitchen, they are natural sweet and taste so good. For this recipe you are going to need huge dates, for example, Halawy or Medjool.
Peanut butter – Itโs up to you if you use homemade, or you can buy peanut butter in the store. Itโs really easy to make your own peanut butter as well. All you need to do is to place peanuts in a food processor. Turn the food processor on and let it run for 4โ5 minutes. During this time, youโll see the peanuts go in stages from crumbs to a dry ball to a smooth and creamy โliquidโ peanut butter. Stir in the rice syrup and a some salt, if you want.
Peanuts – You are going to need some peanuts, for extra crunch in your healthy Snickers. You can use normal or salty one.
Dark chocolate – You can use any chocolate you like. I used dark chocolate, I love the combination of dark chocolate with peanut butter and dates. Plus, dark chocolate has a great health benefits for u body, for instance, boost our energy and is high in antioxidants.
How to make Chocolate Snickers Stuffed Dates
Line a small pan or freezer-safe plate with parchment paper and set aside. Sliced each dates in half and remove the pit.
Fill each dates with peanut butter using a small spoon, then top with some peanuts, set aside in the fridge for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, melt chocolate in a double boiler.
Slightly close the stuffed dates, then drizzle chocolate all over. On top, you can add some salt or more peanut butter, then put in the freezer for 10โ15 minutes.
